Weekend writing klaxon!
I didn’t get as much of my own writing done this week because I’ve been working on The TEN.
To make up some time, I’ve set aside both Saturday and Sunday mornings to hash out an idea I’m working on for a novel.
I’ve written thousands of articles, countless screenplays and a memoir but my first literary tome has so far eluded me.
Could this finally be the year?
With your help it might be.
I’m working on an idea for us to all be able to write together remotely - but ahead of that, and to kickstart tomorrow morning I’ve promised myself a croissant from the local bakery.
Yes, I am BRIBING myself to write. Don’t knock it til you try it!
But what are you going to be doing this weekend - and how are you doing it?
Will baked goods figure?
Will you find quality time to get those ideas out of your head and onto paper?
I know you want to (you do, don’t you?), so I suggest you find at least one clear hour tomorrow, if possible, for you and your words.
Chances are, that one hour will lead to more writing time.
Once you’ve got that hour in the bag, come back here and let me know in the comments how it went. Rinse and repeat on Sunday.
Croissants are optional in this instance but frankly, also highly recommended.
Happy writing!
Lisa
Interesting to hear about the novel. Can you share more about it?
Thank you for being my first ever comment 🧡🧡🧡
